The 100+ year-old company to revamp logo and labels, quality products remain

WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS (June 29, 2011) – Nielsen-Massey Vanillas is spicing up its look this summer with a new logo and updated labels. The company, best known for its premium vanilla and pure flavor products, will debut the new look at this year's 57th annual Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington, D.C. on July 10-12.

This update is Nielsen-Massey's first since 2003. Matt Nielsen, chief operating officer, said the goal of the transformation is to modernize the brand image and give meaning to the seal, which will continue to be a central design element.

"We are excited to have labels and logos that reflect the passion we have for the company," he said. "Although the appearance of Nielsen-Massey is being updated, the products that customers know and love will stay the same. We continue to be committed to providing quality vanilla and pure flavor products."

All labels and the updated logo will feature a new seal and lettering, but still maintain many familiar elements to produce a look that better showcases the Nielsen-Massey name, while staying true to the company's heritage.

The updated Nielsen-Massey look will have a rolling introduction and products will reflect the new label beginning in July/August.
